NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

I cannot bloody rave about this product enough! Ammazingg!!
This is literally one of the best, if not the best concealer I have ever tried.
It's amazing for covering blemishes - if you have acne prone skin - you need this in your life!

It has such a gorgeous thick consistency, it's amazing. I use the shade Medium 2 - custard. It is ever so slightly pink so I love it for under the eye if I ever have dark circles.

When I initially started to use this product under the eye it started to crease however I have since changed my primer and it no longer does that.

The dome foot applicator is really good aswell and doesn't waste too much product.
If I put it under my eyes I will either blend it with my fingers, or use a beauty blender to get the best effect.

I think it's around $36/$38 from Mecca.
I'm a little devestated because I'm running out and need to purchase a new one :(

Holy grail - you need this!

Loreal Lumi Magique v MAC Strobe Cream

I usually tend to change up my foundation on a daily basis, sometimes I'll go dewy but it's usually matte. In that case, I still like to look a little bit luminous ( is that even a word - I just like to look glowing but opt for a matte foundation for oil control).
Sooo that brings me to my two favourite products for a glowing primer. I have a drug store one from Loreal - the Lumi Magique and MAC's Strobe Cream.

I originally purchased this mini size of the strobe cream ($15 -  Pro Store - Chapel St) to test it out as I had heard great things about it. I found it was great in winter because of it's thickness and finish.
Recently I purchased the Lumi Magique and I think I love it a bit more. My makeup doesn't move as much as it did with the strobe cream and it's definitely more of a runny consistency! I think it blends really easily and its a little more obvious through out the day.
I wouldn't wear the Loreal one on it's own as it is a bit white in appearance after it's spread on your skin but I would wear the MAC one on it's own.
Left is Loreal - Right is MAC

Smashbox Highlighter - Fusion Soft Lights - Baked Starburst

This is another bad boy I picked up after my birthday !
I have a slight love/hate relationship with this highlighter...
So the colours are gorgeous and when you mix them together it creates a really beautiful color that isn't too pink or too brown, however I just don't find that the pigmentation pays off on my skin as well as I want it too.
I would reccomend it if you like a really subtle highlight but unfortunately I just don't unless I'm going to work, Safeway or something unimportant where I'm not too phased about what I look like.
I do like it as an eyeshadow, I think it's  gorgeous for a light shimmer for every day use.
Also the packaging really annoys me. I like things that open up but screwing the lid on and off is just annoying when I'm in a rush in the morning.
It's not that glittery in real life..

So overall it's not that bad - it's good for the collection but obviously doesn't meet what I really want in a highlighter..I'm sure I'll keep using it though !

Purchase from Kit Cosmetics/Mecca

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

So I keep forgetting to post... That and I've been saving my pennies like a mad bitch so I've had no mullah to purchase any new babies!
However I did grab these right after my birthday !

Too Faced  - Chocolate Soleil Bronzer aka my new obsession!
I had wanted to purchase this for so long but just never got around to it, but I am so happy I finally did! It is just so perfect for my skin tone, for contouring or just giving a nice bronzed glow to the skin without looking too over done!
Oh, andd it smells like chocolate..sort of like coco powder that you put in hot chocolate! Yum!
I really love that it's perfectly matte and quite deep in tone. My holy grail is none the less, NARS Laguna (every time I put it on I just go to heaven) and sometimes I put a slight amount of that on top just for fun :)
I purchased this from Kit Cosmetics/Mecca - if you don't have it I strongly reccomend you add it to your collection!

Maybeline 'Fit Me - Shine Free' Foundation Stick

I bought this at Target the other day because they had 30% off cosmetics. I was interested in the product because of it's shape, the shine free core and because it was on sale. So I gave it a go.

Firstly, I love how most of the shades are yellow toned - snaps to maybeline for finally realising that most people have yellow toned skin/ fake tan. So the color matches me very well - even better than the Fit Me liquid foundation.

I found the process of applying my foundation very quick, effective and easy. I also think the packaging is fab to. I blended it in with a flat top kabuki brush.

But I think that's where it ends. It was definitely not shine free. My skin felt and looked slimy after 4 hours of wearing this product and I felt uncomfortable. Maybe that is just my skin though (which is pretty combination). Saying that, I used it on my sister and it looked way better and the shine free factor seemed to work better.

However, I thought it covered my imperfections really well and I'll probably end up using it as a concealer or pass it off to my sister (as that's where most of my not so awesome products happen to end up).

I would give it a 7/10 - a pretty good product for others but not for me :)

Warm Soul - MAC Mineralize Blush

When I first bought this blush I wasn't that thrilled in it as I didn't try it on in store. So it sat in my draw for about 3 weeks..until I started to feel guilty and made the decision to give it another go.

I think I was just too tanned at the time - and maybe I was after something a little brighter to realise how pretty it really is.
It's a gorgeous shade which applys really smoothly. It's definitely not as glittery on the skin as it appears in the pan.

I do find it's not greatly long wearing and would love if it was just a touch more pigmented, however it's great if you aren't after too much. It's a lovely natural-pink for every day !

My Skincare Routine!

It has been so hard for me to find products that suit my skin. I tend to get a pretty oily T-zone and can be a little dry elsewhere. All these products are really light, refreshing and have not irritated my skin.
Above is my first step!
The 'Purity Made Simple' Facial Cleanser.  This little beauty cost me $30 from Mecca Maxima.
It removes all my makeup, oil and dirt that has built up over the day.
It's also great because it removes ALL my eye makeup without irritating my eyes - so not much need for eye makeup remover unless I use a water proof mascara.
Sometimes I use this on my Proactiv deep cleansing brush (I think that's what it's called..) and it really scrubs into my skin and pores.
Love it!

I then go on to use my 'Simple - Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner'. It keeps my skin feeling really fresh and takes off the excess makeup that still hasn't been removed.
This little size was only $2 at Safeway (about $4 at Priceline) and is perfect for travelling.
Finally I hit up my 'Simple - Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser'.
This moisturizer is so light and hydrating on the skin - exactly it's description.
I find that a little goes a long way, otherwise you can end up slightly oily in the morning.
I spread it over my face and neck, then slightly pat the product in.
This is the full sized bottle which I purchased for about $8 or so at Safeway. It also comes in the $2 small travel size however it is annoying to squeeze the product out.

NARS Blush - Final Cut

Such a beautiful blush! I'm really over NARS Orgasm, like sure - it's gorgeous but everyone has it. So I went for something a little different.
This shade is a limited edition and is stunning!
It's a gorgeous light coral/pink with slight orange tones. I think it's just stunning and is my perfect blush.
I find the staying power really great also.
The packaging is perfect to carry around or for travelling as it is so slim line and has a mirror.

MAC Prep & Prime Illuminating Highlighter

I bought this after hearing about it on YouTube.
It's the MAC Prep and Prime illuminating highlighter in Light Boost.

I really like the colour and I find that it really brightens up the eyes.

I like the look of the packaging but I don't like that very minimal product comes out after you twist it. I find it a bit annoying..

MAC Prep and Prime BB Cream

This is probably one of the best BB creams I have tried. I find it is so long lasting and worth the price tag.

If you don't set it with powder it will still stay and provide you with a very glowy look.
It's quite a thick consistency.

I found it to be very pink toned however pretty colour correcting on yellow based skin tones.

It'

Definitely a keeper!

MAC Face & Body foundation

I am in love with this foundation!
It's water based and comes out very very liquidy, however I find the more I work it in with a flat too brush the thicker it becomes and the more flawless my skin appears.
You would think that a foundation with such a light consistency wouldn't provide much coverage but I find it gives me enough - if I do need more I just apply some concealer on active breakout areas.
I love how it doesn't even feel like you are wearing foundation. I think it's really beautiful for every day and definitely worth getting a sample jar of.

My shade is C3
