Bourjois 'Happy Light' foundation

I have almost run out of my beloved MAC studio fix foundation do I thought I would attempt to save on buying a new one and trying a new foundation out.
I came across the Bourjois 'happy light' foundation for $29. It's actually ammaaaazing!
it gives you a beautiful dewy finish and I would say it has medium coverage.
It lasts for a good 6 hours without breaking down and getting too oily.
I usually use my rimmel stay matte power after and this generally tends to keep it in place.
It even works well if you mix a bit of concealer into the formula, such as the prolongwear by MAC for extra coverage and staying power.
I tend to mix my foundations between two colours such as nc25/nc30 and use either or when I'm at my whitest or darkest.
This has been a great everyday foundation for the last 2 weeks that I have been trialling it so I would recommend it to anyone.
On a side note it only  comes in like 4 shades. I have a really yellow undertone to my skin and found that no 53 worked best. I think the other ones were a tad pinkier.

Loreal Base Magique

I bought this primer from Priceline at the 40% off sale after hearing great reviews about it. It is actually so good and very similar to the Porefessional by Benefit. It fills in all your pores so that your skin and foundation look flawless. It also doesn't leave a oily redisue like some mother primers or feel like just another moisturizer.
It has a relitavely thick texture but blends quite easily.

Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder

Such a great pressed powder ! I tend to get an oily t-zone but this powder has literally saved me!
The shade I have is transparent so it won't alter the shade of my foundation. I think it was only about $13 at Priceline.
The packaging looks pretty cheap and nasty however it's great to carry around on the go for touch ups :)

MAC Prolongwear Concealer

Okay so about 10 months ago I went into MAC Chadstone asking for a new concealer. I had never known of my colour at MAC before that would be a perfect match. She handed me a pink toned NW35 and said it would be perfect so I trusted her judgement.
Never again. I used some of it until my tan faded off and I turned back to my natural colour, realizing that this shade and tone was just completely off.
I got re matched in another foundation to be a yellow based NC25/NC30.
I honestly don't even know how someone experienced could get that wrong but whatever.
The second photo above is the shade I'm using now. I bought NC20 to brighten up under my eyes etc, and it works amazingly!!!
It's crease proof and long lasting :) I think it was about $36 :)

I have the Prolongwear foundation aswell but I am definitely not a fan.

Do your self a favour and never buy this.

I would rather die than use this again.
The Le Tan Jet Dry 'instant bronze', turned me from my normal yellow/olive toned skin colour into an actual carrot.
I sprayed the tan over my body and then buffed it in with a tanning mit, however if I didn't use the tanning mit it probably would have turned out super streaky.
But the colour was just soo off and left stains on my clothes.
After being 5 days now, it's turned extremely patchy and it's also been an absolute bitch to try and scrub off.

MAC Strobe Cream

This product is honestly so great! It lights up your face and gives your skin a fresh and healthy glow! I use it before my primer, as a primer if I'm in a rush or just on it's own if I can't be bothered with doing my makeup.
It has a thick consistency but applys really smoothly and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It's also super hydrating!
I bought a small size (30ml) for $15 from the MAC Pro store to try out before I committed to a 100ml
$60(I think it is) one. But I think I will definitely be spending the money to get that. Saying that, this small tube has lasted me about 3-4 months, I use aboit the size of a 5 cent peice or less a day.

Kardashian Kollection En-joysticks

I cannot rave about these enough! They are some of the most beautiful lipsticks I have ever purchased.
I have two shades - modern mauve, which is a perfect nude shade and sea coral, a gorgeous baby pink-coral colour.

They stay on so well and smell like vanilla. They come in a twist up tube.

Jordana 'Best Lash Extreme'

I have tried so many mascaras but I have never come across one as good as this. It's way better than any of the maybeline 'falsies' mascaras.
It's really buildable and super black!
I highly recommend.

I bought it from Cosmo cosmetics in Sydney but you should be able to buy it off crush cosmetics, beauty joint or something like that!

Redwin Moisturizer

So this is literally the only moisturizer I like to use on my face. I generally use it at the end of night before bed and in the morning. I hate waking up in the morning and feeling like my face is super oily and this does not do that - at all. It also doesn't make me break out, is super gentle and is great for evening out the skin tone. You also don't get that sticky or slimy feeling after putting it on.
It's super cheap aswell only $4 or so from Safeway.

Eyeko Brow Gel

I always used to use hairspray on a spoolie to comb my crazy wog eyebrows in to place, which worked really well and is a really inexpensive alternative.
I had heard about this product by Eyeko and decided to try it out. The tube is soo cute and works so well. The brow gel
is a tinted brown shade and keeps my brows in shape all day.
I find it perfect when I can't be bothered filling them in or if I'm in a rush to just use this. It also looks really good after you fill your brows in to set them in place.
I bought this from Mecca Maxima in Melbourne Central :)

Maybeline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner

Wows such a good liquid liner, it comes out so black and is hyper glossy! The tip is so tiny and perfect for a cat eye, covering fake lashes or just a normal liner.
I just bought another one from Priceline I case my current one runs out soon...just to be safe.

Beauty Blender

I used makeup brushes for such a long time for my foundation and concealer and had heard so many great things about the beauty blender.
This little thing is amazing! You wet it with water and it expands, then I put some foundation on the back of my hand and start to work it into my face with this bad boy.
It literally does all the blending for you! I find it works best with my Loreal True Match foundation because of the consistency however works good with other foundations too.
I promise you it's not dirty but is just stained so I suppose the only downside is that it's hard to clean.

YSL Rouge Volupté Shine

These lipsticks are amazing!!! They go on your lips so smoothly and are incredibly pigmented. I have these two colours (15 on the left, slightly more pink) (14 on the right, a coral/ orange shade) these colours are perfect for summer, not to mention the gorgeous packaging!
In loveeeeeee!

Urban Decay Ammo 2 Palette

Another Urban Decay purchase..
Just bought this new eye-shadow palette and these colors are pretty damn gorgeous! I cannot wait to experiment with them when I get some free time. They all are so shimmery and highly pigmented.
The colors I have been using most of are 'Sin', 'Smog' and 'Maui Wowie'.
The only downside of them is I find there's a great deal of fall down, so if your using a darker shade maybe put your foundation on after..
It also comes with a Primer Potion. At first I hated this because it dried super fast and I found my eye shadow didn't blend as easily, however you just have to work quickly with it. My eye shadow does not crease at all when I use it and it makes the colors stand out way better!
Bought it off beauty bay and took the usual 3 weeks time.

Urban Decay - Naked Flushed Palette

I have found it so hard to find a decent bronzer that isn't too orange, has little shimmer and is great for contouring.. until I found this.
Its the perfect color for me and amazing to take on the go in my handbag. I loveeee it. The blush is beautiful as well and so long lasting. Not the biggest fan of the highlighter shade however I have used it as an eye shadow due to its high pigmentation and its pretty good.
I purchased this off Beauty Bay and it took just under 3 weeks.
